Our Classes
Hand Building
Our Hand Building workshops offer a flexible class arrangement running every Wednesday evening (changing to Mondays) 6pm - 8:30pm. You will learn a number of hand building techniques that you can then use to create pieces of your choosing with teacher guidance.

Duration: 2.5 Hours
*Please note: A minimum of 2 workshops is recommended to a complete your pieces. (Building your creations and Glazing your creations).
Each building workshop allows 2 x medium pieces to be made.
Additional pieces $15 each.
Pieces will then be put through the final firing ready to be collected and used in your home. All pieces are fired to stoneware and are dishwasher safe.
Intro to Wheel Class
Next Class
Wednesday May 20th
This class is the perfect introduction for anyone wanting to try their hand at wheel throwing, without the commitment.
You will learn everything from how to prepare the clay, center the clay and throw different shapes.
At the end of the class you will choose your favorite piece for our technician to then trim, glaze and fire creating a food safe and dishwasher safe vessel.
Cost: $120
Duration: 2.5 hours
*Any extra pieces you wish to keep can be prepared by our technician for an additional $15.
6 Week
Wheel Term
Our wheel workshops are capped at 8 students per session to provide a personalised and unique learning experience for everyone. You will learn the art of throwing on the wheel which includes prepping the clay, centering, lifting and shaping.
You will also learn to trim each piece (shape the base) once at leather hard.
Your pieces will then be fired and brought back to the studio ready for you to choose your glaze and finish your pieces ready for the final firing.
Each pieces is fired to stoneware and dishwasher safe.

1.5 hour Hand Building
$99 pp
Our 1.5 hour hand building workshop will guide you through a number of hand building techniques to help you form a custom designed handled mug.
After the workshop each piece will be dried, fired, glazed and re-fired to stoneware create durable, food safe and dishwasher safe pieces.
Wheel Workshop
$130 pp
Max 8 pp
In this workshop you will get an introduction into the art of wheel throwing. You will guided through the process of preparing the clay, cantering, pulling the walls, shaping your vessel and removing from the wheel head.
After the workshop each person will choose their favourite piece to be be dried, trimmed, fired, glazed and re-fired to stoneware create durable, food safe and dishwasher safe pieces.
Should you wish to keep more of your creations an additional cost of $15 for each additional piece will be charged.
