Jayne works with private clients, interior designers and architects to create one-of-a-kind ceramic works shaped by their setting. From sculptural pieces and wall works to lighting and considered objects, each commission is developed through a collaborative process while remaining grounded in Jayne's distinctive material language and approach to form.Every piece is made by hand in her Northern Beaches Studio, with consideration given to scale, proportion, texture and the space it will ultimately inhabit.

A Collaborative Approach

You may come with a clear idea, or simply a space, scale or feeling you’d like the finished piece to respond to.

Each commission begins with a conversation about the piece, its setting and how you’d like it to feel. From there, I develop the form, material and finish, creating something specifically for you and the space it will inhabit.

Commissions may include sculptural works, wall pieces, lighting, custom tableware and pieces for interiors, ranging from individual statement works to larger collections for private homes, designers and hospitality spaces.

The commission Process

How it works

Every commission begins with a conversation about you, your space and what you’d like to create.

1. Enquiry
Tell us about your idea, the space or purpose, approximate dimensions and preferred timeframe. Reference imagery is welcome.

2. Concept & Quote
We’ll explore the direction, scale and finish before providing a quote. For more complex projects, a concept and design fee may apply.

3. Making
Once approved, your piece is made by hand in the studio. Timeframes vary depending on the scale, complexity and ceramic process involved.

4. Completion
Once complete, we’ll arrange collection or the most suitable delivery or shipping option for your piece.

Every commission is individually designed and quoted based on the scope of the project. Following an initial review of your enquiry, I'll be in touch to discuss the next steps. For larger or more bespoke projects, a design consultation and design fee may apply before concept development.
